It's Friday the 13th and we have a serious problem. I'm not a fashionista, but I do have my opinions on style and this week's men's fashion news tops the charts. According to Business Insider, the "short" suit is hitting the mainstream. J Crew and several other retailers are beginning to carry them ranging from $400-$1000 USD. Apparently this is the new craze for younger men.
I'm sorry but ...
I took this to Facebook and it appears many of my friends and readers agree.
"Hahahaha this is so bad!"
"Can you see two attorneys duking it out in court, dressed in these suits...wish I could be in the jury box!"
"Who thought this was a good idea?"
"My legs are not sexy enough for that!"
My friends, it's hot in Houston and getting increasingly hotter, but I am not sure I would want to see anyone I work with in a short suit. And, I wouldn't want to see my husband (love you honey) in one, either. Women have worn short jackets in the summertime, however short suits are best left at J Crew than they are to step foot into a corporate environment! I'd rather wear my marathon attire!
Many of you have asked for fashion tips. Alas, this is an area I have limited knowledge unless you'd like me to fawn over my Hermes scarf collection. I plan to bring some guest commentary and experts to this space soon, so stay tuned.
In the meantime, what say you guys (and gals) across the world ...
